Inspired by the natural beauty the eastern China, the architecture firm MAD has recently declared about its intention to build a series of buildings nestled in the Huangshan Mountains. Their futuristic building design boasts organic attractiveness that is in a complete harmony with the terrain: the buildings will emerge from over the mountain treetops and will overlook the nearby Taiping Lake. This is actually a far-off rural area, but the MAD’s team hopes to encourage people to establish permanent residence in their new structures. The buildings will host 700 apartments, a hotel and other facilities for comfortable living. The end of the building in the Huangshan Mountains is scheduled for 2014.
