Robot Baby To Help Learn Social Development Of Children (+VIDEO)

The researchers at Osaka University designed the Affetto robotic baby, which mimics the facial expressions and reactions of one- and two-year-olds. They’ve done this to study Cognitive Developmental Robotics, a method of analyzing social development between children and caregivers. Eventually, the plan is to create a full body robot toddler fitted with responsive sensors.
