Japanese bank Ogaki Kyoritsu Bank plans to utilize biometric ATMs asking for a palm print, the customer’s birth date and a four-digit PIN. Presently ATMS with biometric scanners still ask for a banking card, while the planned ones are to be used with no card required. The new technology is to be introduced in late 2012, and the bank has to identify the problems and cheat loops of the ATMs in the meanwhile.
