Plastic Electronics Equals Cheap And Power Efficient Gadgets

Plastic Electronics, Equals Cheap, futuristic material
The researchers from Cavendish Laboratory at Cambridge University have developed more flexible and fast plastic electronics. Consuming less energy and reducing cost tremendously such plastic electronics can be utilized, for example, in heads-up displays for entertainment, car passengers and even pilots. According to Henning Sirringhaus (project lead) and Dr. Enrico Gili and Dr. Auke Kronemeijer, who worked on the project, the new ambipolar organic materials can simplify the production process of sophisticated electronics, escalating the fabricating speed and reducing its cost.
