The official smartphone of the 2012 Summer Olympic games – Samsung Galaxy S III is used for basic hotel services in 40 VIP rooms of London’s Stratford Holiday Inn. Guests staying there are handed in those smartphones with a customized Holiday Inn app that allows to check in and out, lock and unlock doors, control the AC and the TV in the room and to order room services. Moreover, the app is updated with the latest Olympic news for the guests to stay tuned with the games wherever they are.
