Poul Henningsen Museum Worthy Of Light Artist

PH Museum
Henning Larsen Architects has proposed a design project for the Poul Henningsen (PH) Museum in Vejen, Denmark. Being a world known light artist PH has also created a wide range of works as a furniture designer, song writer and what not. So, the holistic picture of the artist’s works will be presented along the inner façade of the building, placing the dark rooms for special exhibitions nearby, and a double-high atrium in the center to stage the known PH Artichoke lamp. Additionally to the unique collection of the PH Lamps produced by Louis Poulsen Lighting, the museum will accommodate laboratories for training light technicians.
