Batumi (the Republic of Georgia) Aquarium project (by Henning Larsen Architects) looks like four huge pebbles. The complex constitutes four exhibitions, each one representing different marine biotypes from: the Mediterranean, the Black Sea/Red Sea, the Aegean Sea and the Indian Ocean, which are connected by a central space including café, auditorium, and shops, all overlooking Batumi beach. Batumi Aquarium will provide educational and entertaining journey within four seas, supported by outside landscape of four archipelagos, offering an opportunity for outdoor research, learning, and meeting up.
