3D Solar Cell Prototype Unveiled
We’ve told you about the technology of 3D photovoltaic cells before. Presently, Solar3D showed the first prototype of these fantastically efficient next generation solar cells. Thanks to their design, three-dimensional solar cells have a wide angle of light collection and convert photons into electrons with internal efficiency of 25,47% (compared to 15-19 per cent of the conventional solar cells).
