Thanks to the advancements in technology and due to the cooperative efforts of Panasonic and NBC Olympics around 80 per cent of US TV households will be able to watch the London 2012 Olympics in 3D High Definition live streams. At the end of this month, the subscribers of multichannel video programming distributors (MVPD), such as AT&T, Cablevision, Comcast, Cox Communications, DirecTV, Time Warner Cable, Verizon and other satellite, cable and telco providers will be able to gain the 3D broadcast of the games. The daily 3D programming will not run live though, but will be presented with next-day delay.
