Urban.Pod is a concept from Paulo Encarnai, which is designed for compact and safe inner-city travel. The 1+2 car is meant to be made out of bio-degradable plastics produced on natural foundation such as corn starch, sugar cane, vegetable oils and fat, and to run on both gasoline and electricity. The vehicle comes with a key containing specific settings, which include tire pressure sensor, fingerprint door opening, and car-to-car sensor to control the situation on the road.
