Prepared for the US Army the 300-foot Long Endurance Multi-Intelligence Vehicle is to be tried in Afghanistan. The ready helium-filled robot blimp has been meant to provide surveillance and intelligence support for land forces. The new aviation concept features an aerodynamic design, efficient materials and sensors for augmenting the toughness of the overall structure.
