BMW: Smart Windshield (+VIDEO)

bmw, heads up display
The BMW Head-Up Display from BMW ConnectedDrive, projects in full color the current speed and navigation instructions, as warnings, road layouts and messages onto the windshield. The current speed limit and other speed restrictions and some other info can be shown on demand. For this to work an intense light source is located inside the instrument panel and projected through a transparent Thin Film Transistor (TFT) display at the driver’s eye level (the height of the display is also adjustable). Head-Up Display is available in 3 and 6 Series of BMW.
