Distributed Agile Submarine Hunting Robot

DARPA DASH robot, futuristic robot, robotics, future of robotics, robot concept, future robots
Striving for freedom preservation, America is employing all the advanced technologies, inclusive robotics, which at present plays a substantial role in aiding the military. DARPA presents DASH (Distributed Agile Submarine Hunting) robot, an underwater version of a satellite. It boast high mobility, quietness and automaticity at extreme depths in the open ocean. The DASH robot can watch and hunt submarines, regardless of whether they are diesel-electric or nuclear, as it is able to move through deep and shallow waters carefully. In case it detects an enemy sub, a tiny autonomous vessel or “X-ship” will be deployed in order to stay on the trail of those subs that could prove to be hostile.
