The head of the has inbuilt cameras, a microphone, an antenna, a speaker, a distance measurement sensor and an obstacle measurement sensor. 3D cameras along with custom software assist the robot in observing emotional aspects and abnormal behavior of the prisoners and making decisions. These robots are not just to ensure the safety of the prisoners but to relieve employees working under stress. Through the robot, the officers can communicate to the inmates from control room, and even use their iPad to control the robot.
