NLPX DESIGN company is a first-rate design team focusing on automotive design services and full-vehicle design process control. Pexin Li, one of their designers, believes that in 2046 in Shanghai city the automobile design will enter into a new era along with the development of technology and new views on life. The CALI (City, Art, Act, Ingenuity) is a new concept car created for the Michelin Challenge Design. It features an adjustable frame and a unique stretching body material. The car’s interior has retractable materials, the chairs can be freely designed to fit the posture. The car is easily adjustable to a variety of changes: it can turn into one seat, two, three and even four seats car. The car’s design combines China’s culture with national car technical concept and in future it will integrate into a daily life of any densely-populated city.
