A New Concept Smart-coat At CES 2013 (+VIDEO)
The TEC Jacket 2.0 is the new prototype smart-coat presented by the gadget-friendly clothing firm SCOTTeVEST at this year’s CES. It might seem a standard windbreaker at first sight, though it includes serious technology, such as adapters, accessories; a life-logging camera and LTE hub built-in for good measure. The SCOTTeVEST TEC Jacket 2.0 features stereophonic speakers, which are mounted in the collar, and a pair of noise-cancelling microphones to facilitate easier conversation, besides a heads-up display is integrated into the hood. Regarding storage, it has enough pockets to safely house the majority of mobile devices: there are pen and stylus pockets, an iPhone dock, a waterproof iPad pocket, and even an RFID-blocking pouch.
